Company Firsts From Nissan

March numbers are out! And, they show that Nissan, Japan's second-largest automaker, has achieved a healthy 9.7 increase in U.S. market share. That's the highest single-month growth in the company's history. Even more impressive: Nissan's March U.S. vehicle sales jumped a record-breaking 27 percent.

Nissan is Growing in Popularity

Watch out Honda, Hyundai, and Toyota... it looks like Nissan is in the fast lane, hot on your tracks. According to February's numbers, recently in, Nissan sales jumped a tremendous 30 percent in a month. Outrageous! And, that growth doesn't even account for the wild success of Nissan's luxury brand, Infiniti.

Franklin, Tenn - 01.04.2011 - Nissan North America, Inc. (NNA) today reported record December U.S. sales of 93,730 units versus 73,404 units a year earlier, an increase of 27.7 percent. Nissan Division sales were up 26.3 percent for the month, also a December best. Sales of Infiniti vehicles rose 37.3 percent over the prior year.

Nissan November Sales Up Almost 27%


It has been a profitable year for Nissan North America. The Japanese auto maker reported that its November US sales were up 26.8 percent, compared to the year prior. Nissan reported it sold 71,366 automobiles by Nov 2010, versus 56,288 a year ago.
