Nissan To Bring New Pathfinder to 2012 NAIAS

Nissan will bring a new version of their ever popular SUV the Pathfinder to the 2012 North American International Auto Show, which they promise will be "very dramatic" in style. Nissan's seven-passenger SUV, available at Gurley Leep Nissan, has come a long way since its inception and has always proven to be a popular seller.
Nissan says its concept features, "thoughtful technology, comfortable seating for seven, and ample cargo room," along with four-wheel drive. Current Pathfinders have "three-row seating and four-wheel drive. Mention of a new platform suggests Nissan will move the vehicle from its current truck frame to a unibody design. It is possible that the new Pathfinder will share a platform with the Infiniti JX, unveiled at the 2011 Los Angeles Auto Show."1
Official press release literature is vague, promising a new platform along with aerodynamic body. A teaser photo, released to the web, shows big fenders front and back. Side windows also appear larger, with a conventional roofline.
Pathfinder will go on sale in the fall, as a 2013 model.
