Nissan To Build the Rogue SUV in the United States

Since its inception, Nissan Motor Co. has produced their Rogue SUV in Japan. In 2013 that is going to change. Beginning that year, the auto maker will produce its best-selling vehicle in the United States. This plan is part of an effort to localize upwards of 85% of its manufacturing in the regions where it sells vehicles by 2015. In other words, North America loves Nissan, so why not build them here.

Franklin, Tenn - 01.04.2011 - Nissan North America, Inc. (NNA) today reported record December U.S. sales of 93,730 units versus 73,404 units a year earlier, an increase of 27.7 percent.
